Creative Scrappers Sketch #146

After much contemplation, figuring and playing...I finally got my layout submitted for the Creative Scrappers Sketch #146. The sketch this week was awesome...I totally love that you can twist, turn and play with each sketch to make it your own. Here is the amazing sketch...

And here is my take on it....


I used the Maya Mist and a template for the background scalloped circles...and then just picked through my stash of stuff to create all the other elements. I have sewed the butterflies onto the layout, layering two on top of each other...looks much better up close though. I also sewed around the word "face" above the photos to give it more emphasis. I loved playing with this sketch - take a look here to see the rest of the designers amazing layouts!

    Great layouts Jody. You have mastered the art of misting. I love how you combine and layer all your embellishments with such finesse. The photos are adorable - makes me what to squeeze those cute cheeks.
