I have had such a great time playing around with some mixed media products that I decided to use it for some cards using this mood board for Scrap & Play Challenge #7. I loved that ocean view and the variations of the blues that I wanted to mimic it in my cards....here is the challenge...
And here are my cards...
I used some modelling paste and a Tim Holtz stencil to create the background of the lines...it's hard to tell but they are raised and have a thick texture to them. After it dried, I painted over it using a blue and turquoise glimmer mist from Tattered Angels. I also used a few stamps here and there to add to the dimension.
