Basic Grey Challenge

Basic Grey is such a staple in my stash!  I usually fall in love with their lines each year.  The papers and the embellies are so easy to work with!  And have you seen their fabric?  I LOVE their fabric!  I am currently making a quilt out of the Origins line....okay it's been almost a year since I started it - but there is lots of hand stitching okay!
So here is a LO I did based on the Basic Grey sketch over on their blog.
Here is the sketch....

And here is my take on it...

All the product is Basic Grey from their Curio and Porcelain lines.  The background paper is from their Nook & Pantry line.  I liked that most of the papers and embellies can be intertwined with the different lines - old and new!
The tissue paper, however is a from a vintage pattern.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend everyone!

  3. That photo is so cute! I love the extra touches you put on your layouts. I have to try using paint....

I think you would find the Cameo worth the purchase. You can print images (from their store, or make yourself) then set the machine to cut around them. AMAZING!! Check out their online store of images. I don't have a single bad thing to say about the Cameo. I only hope I don't wear it out!!! I designed the chicken wire cut file myself. I've used it on every layout since I bought it. You can get everything exactly the size you want for your project. Even my kids are loving it. They probably make a project each week.
