I'm always in love with Tara's Color Challenges that she puts on over at the Crate Paper Blog. The colors are usually different then what I would put together but her projects showcase how wonderful they can be combined to be such beautiful layouts, cards and home decor. This months' color challenge was so pretty I had to create something with it! I used my Cameo to cut out the pillow box and then decorated it with some dies that I cut out using my Big Shots and Sizzix dies. I topped it off with a few stickers and a pretty flower that fit right in with the color palette.
It was fun to create something that wasn't a card or LO this time! Head on over to the Crate Blog's Color Challenge - I was chosen as a noteworty project that was featured for the Color Challenge!
And of course another reveal from Let's Capture these Sketches, Card Sketch #35. Here is the sketch...
And here is my take. It's a bit toned down for my usual style, but I love the colors and simplicity to it!
I used, again, Crate Paper for all of my paper and a My Mind's Eye Sticker for the sentiment. It was a great sketch to work with...I know that I will be making more cards based on this sketch as it's so versatile!
Thanks for looking and have a great week!
Jody
