Grandma...

Grandma...there are not enough words to describe her...
funny
generous
beautiful
artist
golfer
curler
sociable
Gee Gee
friend
mother
young at heart
fierce crib player
Grandma...we love you...and so I scrapped you!

I used the October Afternoon Farmhouse line.  It is so versatile and beautiful!  I love that all the pieces aren't overly matchy matchy - my favorite way to scrap!  I have had this picture sitting in my pile of scrappy pictures for the last two years....finally found some paper and embellies to go with it!  Thanks Grandma - you make our lives full!

I love the way people have been using the twine throughout their layouts and cards...it falls so nicely and adds a little bit of a pop on the page.  I also used Gum Drop Glimmer Mist on the background with a chicken wire stencil, a scallop punch on a few pieces as well along the right top edge of the LO.  This LO makes me very happy....

Grandma - I hope you like it!

  4. Hi Jody. I met you a little while back at The Scrapbook Cottage (I work there). Funny enough, I was visiting Tiffany's blog today and read about YOU! It's a small world afterall :) Just wanted to pop by and say hi. Nice to see you're active again. That layout about your grandma just warms my heart. You are so lucky to have a relationship with her, it's something I'll never know. Cheers!
