Creative Scrappers #273 Reveal!

I loved this sketch by the talented Jenny Evans!  It had a lot of layers that I love to work and play with....here is the fabulous sketch...

And here is my LO...

I used one of the Simple Stories Summer lines that I've had for a while - which I love and have been hoarding it for a while :)
I cut out the sun, title, polaroid frame and triangles with my Cameo - which I enjoy that it can cut really any type of material.
And yes...I am hooked on this little dude!

Link up your projects to the Creative Scrappers Blog here for your chance to win a great prize from Paper Camelia!  Also - if you link up you get a chance to be a featured LO each Wednesday - so don't forget to work with this awesome sketch!

Creative Scrappers Sketch #272 Reveal

Another great sketch by Kristine from Creative Scrappers!  A big surprise too that it does not have ANY PHOTOS on it!!!  I'm sure some found this a bit hard as we always seem to scrap with photos...but what about journalling and events that don't necessarily require photos?  Well this sketch did it for me!!!  I'm sure I'll be doing more layouts without sketches in the future!!!  Here is the sketch....

And here is my LO....

I turned the sketch 90 degrees and made the journalling vertical.  This is all about my 2014 summer bucket list - I love how it turned out and how it made me think outside my comfort zone!!!

Good luck with the sketch and don't forget to link up your LO's for a chance to win some great prizes from our June sponsor Paper Camellia!!!

Creative Scrappers Sketch #271 Reveal

I love how balanced Sketch #271 is - enjoying the large title and single photo as well.  I had just received some new MME product in the mail and had to use it for this photo of my kids and I.  Thanks Jenny Evans for such a great sketch!

Here it is...

And here is my take...

I painted the background gold with acrylic paint and then used a few misters to make the droplets.  I added a bit of sewing to the page and a vintage sheet of music that I recently acquired while yard saleing with my sister a few weekends ago.  Gold - I just love it and can't help myself when it comes to paper crafting!

To win a prize from our June sponsor, Noel Mignon, create a layout and enter the challenges using our inlinkz widget at the end of the reveals for Sketch 269-271.  Deadline to submit your layout is June 30th at Midnight ADT - head on over to the Creative Scrappers blog to link up!

Good luck and thanks for popping by!

Creative Scrappers Sketch #269 Reveal!

I purchased the Highline Basic Grey paper line a few weeks ago and instantly wanted to use it for this awesome sketch by Kristine!  Here is the sketch...

And here is my LO...

I love the grid format therefore I used the 6 x 6 paper pad to make the background.  I used my Cameo or the stars, title, scalloped circles and the background behind my photo.  Those colors make me very happy and I loved working with this line!

Check out the blog for more reveals from the DT - and leave a few words as this is the last reveal for some of the ladies :(
